Materials: CDC distributes several publications including a patient guide for people with diabetes (available in English and Spanish) and the eight-page National Diabetes Fact Sheet: National Estimates and General Information on Diabetes in the United States. State-based diabetes prevention and control programs develop and maintain local programs and produce materials on diabetes for the general public and health professionals.
